Hi, I’m Jason Lawton, and I live here in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains, in the cozy little town of Ben Lomond. I was born and raised in this area with my family: my brother Jon, sister Sarah, father Jeff, and mother Patti. It’s truly been a blessing to grow up here and witness the ever‑changing beauty of the seasons, the weather, and the diverse landscape. I’ve also had the privilege of raising my four wonderful kids here, which has reignited my passion for photography.

I enjoy heading out into nature to photograph, as well as shooting live music shows and events. The Santa Cruz area is lush with both, and so much more. When I get the chance to travel, I love camping my way around this amazing, scenic country of ours, soaking in the sights I haven’t made it to yet.

I specialize in intimate, up‑close photography and candid shots that capture the mood and ambiance of the moment. I also love putting my drone to work, capturing shots and footage you simply couldn’t get any other way: for weddings, events, live concerts and shows, land surveying, and more.
